History of Incident Response

The founder of Incident Response, Asher Heimermann, had a vision of covering first responders and the incidents they responded to in Southeast Wisconsin. In June 2012, at age 18, Heimermann launched the concept and officially founded Incident Response after years of planning.

With a Nikon point-and-shoot camera, he started documenting incidents in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and publishing pictures from incident scenes on the Incident Response Facebook Page. With overwhelming support and success, he soon started covering public safety training, drills and events. Incident Response content was regularly featured on Milwaukee and Green Bay television stations. Five years later, Incident Response expanded and began covering incidents in Milwaukee, Green Bay and Chicago.

Incident Response is truly a one-of-a-kind organization. There is no other agency of its kind in the State of Wisconsin or the Midwest. We have close working relationships and partnerships with public safety agencies to document their day-to-day activities. The photos and videos published by Incident Response is often used by departments for training and internal review purposes.
